Who we are
Gracias — Gratitude in Letters ("Gracias", "we") is a gratitude app shared between two people. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what choices you have. Questions can be sent to contato@usegracias.com.
What you write is stored on our servers
Unlike a regular personal journal, Gracias exists to connect two people — so your gratitude entries, your shared trail, and the messages exchanged with your chosen person are saved securely on Supabase (our database provider), not just on your device. That's what lets both of you see the trail from any device.
What we collect
Account: your email and a password (stored encrypted, never in plain text) — or, if you choose "Sign in with Google", your basic name, email, and profile picture provided by Google (we only request the email and profile permissions, nothing beyond that).
Trail content: the gratitude entries, letters, and reflections you and your chosen person write, plus the name you gave your trail.
Subscription: your plan status (trialing, active, canceled) and renewal date. Payments are processed entirely by Hotmart — Gracias never sees or stores your card details.
Who we share with
We use three service providers, each receiving only the minimum needed for its function:
Supabase — hosts your account, trail content, and subscription status.
Hotmart — processes your subscription payment.
Google — only if you choose "Sign in with Google", for authentication.
The person you share your trail with sees what you exchange with each other — that's the app's purpose. We don't share your content with anyone else, don't sell your data, and don't use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can request, at any time, by emailing contato@usegracias.com: a copy of your account data, correction of inaccurate information, or complete deletion of your account, subscription, and the content you wrote. We handle these requests within 15 days.
Children
Gracias is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children in that age group.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful update to this policy, we'll notify you inside the app. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
